CROSSMARK has named Susan Scar as Director of Costco Sales, effective immediately.
Susan has over 25 years of CPG Sales and Marketing experience. She is known for her strengths in revenue and profit-driven sales. From product development and packaging to pricing and promotions, Susan is a pro at implementing successful “Go to Market” strategies, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have her on our team.
Before joining CROSSMARK, Scar was an independent consultant working with early stage, high growth CPG companies helping them develop and sell their products to Costco. In addition, she was previously the Director of New Business development at Greencore USA, a $2B Food manufacturer with 8 manufacturing facilities in the U.S. There, she was hired to take the current products and manufacturing platforms and develop products, packaging, and programs for new channels of distribution, including Club, Retail, C- Stores, Mass Market accounts. Susan also hired, trained and developed sales incentive programs for national broker networks for Club Stores, Retail, and C-Stores prior to the new product launch.
She has led cross-functional R&D and New Product Development teams for major manufacturers and taken products from ideation through product launch. She has developed many successful “Go to Market” strategies for both Branded and Private Label new and existing products.
Over the past 20+ years, Susan has contributed to the brand development and ongoing growth of numerous nationally recognized brands, including Nonni’s Biscotti, Monterey Pasta, Cibo Naturals, Emerald Valley Organics, Rojo’s Mexican Dips & Salsas, and Sonoma Cheese.
